The War of the Roses,also known as the battle of Bosworth is one of the most important battles in English history.
          On August 7th 1455, Henry Tudor attempted to claim the throne of England. On his journey to Wales, he gathered many supporters to fight against king Richard III, the current king of England at that time. By the time Henry Tudor arrived in the Midlands, he had already gathered an army of an estimated 5,000 men. On the other hand, Richard III had an army of  nearly 8,000 men. Although King Richard had bigger army than Henry, but after 32 bitter years of war,in1487 Henry finally defeated King Richard III.His body was found with 100 stab wounds and his crown was found in a thorn bush.
